with a street art piece of our own. A five letter word is chosen,

and all students will paint the same word.

sample of artist dater's style.

drafting

the project started out as a sketch of

the word funky, done with the intention

of recreating german artist "dater's" style.

snapshot of me painting the piece on a wall.

digital prep

before the paint hit the wall, a color palette

needed to be chosen. my work typically

gravitates towards cool colors, this was a

perfect opportunity to switch up the system.

painting

The final piece process started with making

a sketch based on our digital versions.

I quickly got super lost in the lines and may or

may not have freehanded the other 80% but

nobody needs to know that. After that

comes laying down color blocks. The final and

largest stepis lining and refining with black.
